Kennedy did not pull out of an obvious losing situation in BOP. He bailed on the original plan which resulted in an obvious losing situation. Not a great area of interest to me -- if you want the last word on this one, feel free to give me both barrels.

I have not read the Patti book. My own findings support the idea that the seeds of our eventual tragic involvement were sown at that time.
