He's talking about the race that counts: the race to cover. Every trade analysis shows upside inelasticity has not abated with rising price and flow continues net in. It is likely that a scramble to cover will run the stock to 41. This depends on the generals and thus on the dollar. The dollar is falling just like it did last year and if that copy persists, the generals are suddenly going to hit the skids big time.

It is common to see the shorts cleaned out before a good drop. Sometimes it occurs while the generals are dropping like rocks intraday. Suddenly the longs say, "hey, this is serious", and they start selling while bids are pulled. Everyone backs away. Later you hear, "how could I know trouble was developing, after all, no one important told me the dollar had any significance".

On the other hand the dollar might start correcting the nasty straight line downside move of the last 6 days. The hoards who are programmed by bull market action will do what is called "snap them up". Then the shorts see the market is going up for real, so they got to get out. 44 7/8.

Lastly, the hoards and the shorts are wrong as usual and the dollar, the generals, the stock, and the load in long pants hits the floor.
