Suppose your networth is 200million, and mine is $20000. So if I buy 200 shares and you short 200 shares our "strength of conviction" is different even though the trade size is the same.
I think you and I are on different pages on this issue. I think I know where you are coming from--you post the trade size and price only to touch bases with fellow daytraders. I don't think its offensive at all--otoh someone saying that heh heh I just sold 500 putcontracts and will buy 1000 calls if the stock goes down is not good manners.
Lastly, all the above is just opinions--censorship is the last thing on my mind...
