<holy war>

I have to confess, I love Mr. Softee, but I can't give up my Netscape Navigator.

I sure don't know why not. Compared to IE 4.0 Netscape 4.6 on NT is hideous. I can't think of all the things about it I hate until I start using it. Then it's one thing after another, some of which seem likely to be preference settings but I'll be damned if I can find them.

The only reasons I use it for anything is 1) my employer has a Netscape-specific applet written to interface with the timekeeping database, and 2) Suretrade sh|ts all over itself when accessed with IE 4.0 (and I'm considering leaving Suretrade because of this). My employer settled on Netscape for some reason and won't let me install IE, but I have it anyway because it gets installed when you install Visual C++. Unfortunately that means I can't upgrade to IE 5.0.

IE 5.0 is as much better then Netscape 4.6 as Netscape 2.0 was better than IE 2.0. And we all know what a piece of crap that was.
