Kap, <It's in the air. Some AMD upgrades may be coming tomorrow.> Defintely a good day today. The only negative is a theStreet.com article from Marcy Burstiner about AMD with the title "The Future for Dark Horse AMD Gets Darker" which quotes Keith Diefendorff from MicroDesign Resources talking about how even as Athlon launch is in the wings things may go wrong for AMD in the long run because of engineers potentially leaving the K8 project - especially given a lot of them are Raza's boys. I think the whole thinking behind is a little far-fetched but theStreet.com has quite a bit of following now a days and the article will be read. What does it mean about upgrades tomorrow, I do not know. I am about to head out somewhere and will not be back until pretty late tonite (I will be spending the evening with some Intel folks - may be I get a few additional snippets that help my thinking).
