While we wait for who knows how much longer, listen to these:

Names have been edited out, real calls to tech support, WARNING, some contain bad words....
helpdeskfunnies.cyberjuice.com

Now, why doesn't someone make up a list of Investor Relation calls. That would be a HOOT!

Here are a some samples:

helpdeskfunnies.cyberjuice.com

helpdeskfunnies.cyberjuice.com

Well, if we loose all our money in the market, we can always become tech support staff.

Agreed Archangel

It's tempting to lobby the GLB, but I can't see it doing any good.
The Band has to decide whether they want to push personal emotions aside and get on with a project that will benefit them and their children or not. We can't pretend to understand the factors they have to consider. However, it appears clear that as time goes on, their position weakens. It seems obvious to me that the sooner negotiations are started to reach a mutually beneficial outcome, the better it will be for all concerned.

I'm not sure that the Band understands that the company will develop the remaining portion of the land at Toledo Beach, regardless of what the GLB does. There are several reasons why the site will be an ideal location for a major development ie., an integrated family entertainment and recreation facility. Gladieux, Harris, and Hart are well acquainted with some of the big names in that category, and they have the experience to make such a project a reality. I suspect that if the GLB plays their cards right, they could negotiate some involvement in that development.

I wonder how many people know about Gladieux's presence in the Toledo business community. At the last AGM, he was describing some of his interests, which include a hockey team, and an arena which is used a concert venue. He owns several companies, which have major ongoing contracts for food and concession service provision to racetracks, universities, and an airline I think. Tim got an award at some point which was tantamount to being named Mr. Toledo, though that I might be exaggerating a tad. The point is that he has a well-established business and community leader reputation, which was started by his father. He is exactly the right person to make things happen for Sungold at the Toledo beach site, and there are at least 180 acres to be developed. The site is adjacent to the I75, about a half hour out of the centre of Detroit, and just north and a little west of Toledo. Gladieux already owns the marina next to the company's site.
..........

On another note, legislation has recently been passed in BC to permit ALR land to be designated for purposes not strictly included under ALC guidelines. That legislation significantly enhances the company's negotiating position. For example, it is now at least hypothetically possible for Richmond to decide to put the whole racetrack on ALR land at the old Gilmore farm site.

I've also heard that Interport and Faserport have concluded their arrangements and financing is in place, as someone else mentioned.
...........

I don't understand what's going on with the shorts, but KH assures me that the majority of the shorts established their positions when the shares were trading between $3.50 and $5 Cndn., pre-split. At those levels, their break-even point is not much above the current price.
...........

While it is clear that at least some shareholders have passed their threshold of patience and have sold, it is also clear that over the last week or two, those shares have passed into stronger, more patient hands. My belief is that the shares that have been bought will not soon come back onto the market.
