Dont know why I would be inetrested in someone's ideas of thier aryan background unless they have some convincing data and arguments.

Meanwhile here is something that I didnt think happened in a democratic country. But then Inidas democracy is unique in its operation.

"Thackeray Disenfranchised by Election Commission

In an action that can have wide-ranging political repercussions,
the Indian Election Commission has disenfranchised Shiv Sena
Supremo
Bal Thackeray for six years. This means that Thackeray will not
be
able to contest elections or to vote in an election."

The department of revenue has granted an excise duty reprieve to companies who are, or plan to manufacture products in North-East India.

The states of Assam and Tripura (at specified locations) will be granted exemption from excise duty. The exemption will also be valid on an array of products which are being manufactured in other states of the region.

The exemption granted a few days ago will be valid for a period of 10 years from the publication of the notification in the official gazette or from the date of commencement of production whichever is later.

Market sources feel that this move will open a Pandora's box as a similar exemption on certain products granted to Sikkim a few years ago has led to widespread manipulation and excise evasion by companies, which produced goods in other states, but marked it as 'manufactured in Sikkim'.
