Hans, Here is a brief tour of SI. We will start with the tool bar at top, inbox is where your private mail (PM) shows or a post on a board that was a reply to you. So this post though made on Techride will show in your mail box, a time saver. Folders is either mail you have sent or post to a board or mail that was sent to you or posted in reply to you on a board. I think it holds 60. Bookmarks are very handy, you can bookmark boards or people. So let's say I read Techride. I can go to the Techride board, click on bookmark this subject and then each time I click on bookmarks, Techride will come up and tell how many new post there are. This is an easy way to follow talk about several stocks quickly. Just bookmark what you are following, you can load several. You can also bookmark people, so if you love to read Joan like I do, you can bookmark her and follow all her post quickly. Some people you may also want to read are Kevin Watson and Taste Like Chicken IMO. Hot subjects reflects what is hot at that time. It is roughly the increase in posting and bookmarking activity over a twenty four hour period in a percentage. This is an easy way to see how people are thinking. On most trading days the stocks that are near the top of the hot list are the stocks that are moving. Most times they are moving to the upside as people tend to post less when getting their buttocks handed to them. New subjects are just that. This is how you can find new stocks, IPO or subject, when someone starts a subject. So it is not a bad idea to check new subjects daily. Options are that and Profile is what you want to put out about yourself. When someone clicks on your name, your profile comes up. Also you can see a recent post history for that person. This is very helpful when finding out if someone is spamming a stock. OKay, that is enough for now. I'll tell you more tomorrow and I'm sure I forgot something already. 909S BLUE
