you can try it. i didn't get invited and i tried it.

it looks like it has a lot more going on. more integrated with other gnet sites. better in some ways. but harder to just focus in on si itself. as i recall inbox is not as prominently displayed.

i tried it and don't use it if that tells you anything. but michelle likes it. from the quantity of url's that you see on si that start out "beta", not many people seem to be using it.

one positive i can say for the beta site this morning is that si classic is down yet i can access beta. so this post is being made from the beta site.
