Of course that isn't true. There are many intellectuals on both sides of the aisle. A predisposition towards one or the other is not an indication of intellect, just an indication of of the direction of
fiscal/social goals and desires on a theoretical basis.

And I am sure you have a big pension in store and want to make sure you don't have to share it with anyone even though you collected an inflated salary on some corporate/government welfare career which contributed basically nothing to society, only fed at the trough, and now you want to make sure the spoils are your's not to share
