djane,

The next launch has a slight change. It is now 8/15/99.

Aug. 15: Boeing Delta 2 (7420) on flight 274 with sixth Globalstar mission (4 sats) from pad 17B at Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fla., during a launch window of 1:09 to 1:12 a.m. EDT (0509-0512 GMT).

Thanks JGoren for your report. It seems to me that Q's G phone will be the only game in town when G*'s initial launch on those limited areas. It does make sense to have Q's G phone work properly before ERICY and Telitel come out with their G phones when they actually rely upon Q's ASICs to work with their GSM phones.

Best to all,

Brian H.
