From Bill Rintoul at the Bakersfield Californian:

Aera Energy LLC plans to drill 34 more wells in South Belridge field
Filed: July 28, 1999

Aera Energy LLC is targeting the South Belridge field with more locations. The company filed notices to drill 34 more wells in the field, which is third largest in California and the sixth largest in the United States. New locations are for 29 development wells and five waterflood injection wells.

South Belridge is a coconut throw away from Cal Canal, just in case anybody still has any doubts that we're in the right neighbourhood.

On the other hand, they only grow almonds there - no coconuts.<gg>

Oh, you are so very particular !! I love it. <gg>

June 16 @ $3.75
July 15 @ $3.65
July 20 @ $3.65

That's not "close enough" for you ?? It might be for me if I can just find another can. It'll probably take a disappointment on the Slave Point well to get the "perfect setup". But, if it doesn't disappoint... ?????
