Bob, I am with you. I am getting frustrated with phone modem.

I called TCI@Home, told not available until end of the year. Can not wait that long, called US West for DSL, denied, neither of my two phone lines qualify. Called Covad DSL, willing to pay $80/month for 144K, the outcome is, yes you guessed it right, I got denied again.

Seems to me that my best hope is TCI@Home at the end of the year. Still waiting...
