Hmmm... well I don't know the answers to those questions pezz and I'm not sure how to find out. I have 2 bottles of gensing that I got at the drugstore. This one is "Natures Resource" 410 Mg root siberian gensing. So there is no way to tell how old the root is or anything. The "other ingredients" are Eleutherosides (?) .08 mg and gelatin and water. I guess this is why that guy in LA (forgot his name) wants to regulate these things... I don't like that approach though. Of course its hard to say what effect this is having if anything. I feel like I have energy when I take this, it says take 2 pills 3x/day and I only do 2 pills in the am and thats enough. I know what caffeine does and this isn't that... but who knows? Teas and the stuff they put in jamba juice which are supposed to be gensing don't do anything for me. Otoh I have some coca tea from Peru and thats a real rush!
