I wouldn't call Ameritrade a "wall".

CKFR cancelled their secondary, and it's just business as usual.

I would say Ameritrade just made a prudent decision not to dilute the pool at an inopportune time.

Despite my cynicism for I-net valuations, these stocks are not going to "tumble down" a whole lot further than they already have, IMO. What I mean is, despite Amazon's gargantuan losses, the stock isn't going to $10 anytime soon. People know that summer is typically a slow time for the internet: people are on vacation, taking time off work pursuing outdoor activities, etc.

But as sure as Summer will turn to Fall, and Fall will turn to Winter, look for the interest in the I-net stocks to heat up again, as ppl all over the world begin keeping warm by staying inside and surfing the web -- and with the popularity of free PCs, there is a whole new batch of newbies signing up as new members at places like Amazon.com.

If Amazon keeps adding more stuff, I may just have to go sign up again myself. Last time I bought a book there was 1996 (might have been '95).
