Joe, OT last Red Sox post

Clemens started Game 6 and was pulled with a lead that didn't hold. Hurst vs. Darling in Game 7. Roger could have pitched, but he is no warrior. He's a "me first" type-guy, no team player.

Game 6 was the infamous "Buckner" game. I said Clemens started that game in my post, just as you said he did. What's your beef? As far as game 7, I have heard Clemens interviewed to say he would have come on in relief, if asked. Hurst was the obvious starter in game 7 because he was MVP up the that point with 2 wins, and had an extra day's rest over Clemens.

As soon as the Sox move into the new Fenway Park, away from the ancient Indian burial ground under the old Fenway that's cursed them, along with the Bambino, they'll win it all. Maybe sooner.
