G'day Paul & all - Paul, thanks for the article. On the strength of the [whole] article alone, CSFB's Parmalee seems to be more knowledgeable than AG Edwards's Heger [not included in the paste.] While CSCO has been trying to acquire bridging technologies like SS7, it simply doesn't have enough knowhows to build the converged system from the ground up at this time. Why, how else is it that case the CSCO and LU only have 10% overlap? So saying the emerging markets with antiquated systems should go to CSCO really takes a naive view of a system. Now, if he were to say CSCO partnering with another telecom maker, it would be more reasonable. best, Bosco
