Interesting.
I have been analyzing the recent releases from various sites. One I have found to be very illuminating. Dr. Koop it appears has signed various affinity programs that have created as much as 50% of their traffic. This means they are paying for referrals. This was evident in May. They stopped or reduced the practice subsequently. This looks like puffery to me. The traffic has dropped reflecting the ending of the affinity deals.

So what now? If you need traffic to justify ad revenue and you pay for the traffic how can they make money???
Is a revenue model based on revenue from ads going to work? Conventional media still exists and commands the majority of ad revenue. Any thoughts. I do not see it!!!
