AMD has never before produced a CPU that is faster than Intel's top of the line product. Not only is this chip faster, it is nearly TWICE as fast as anything Intel has on the market, or will have on the market for 9 months. AMD management has had serious management problems before, anyone with a brain knows this, but they've always been fighting over the unprofitable low end of the market. High-end is Intel's gravy train. AMD never had access to those kind of profits until NOW. Prepare to have your world rocked. ---------------------- AMD management always seems to do a fine job executing and there stock price reflects it. You could give them 10 years lead and they would still blow it.
