I don't think anybody else saw this coming either. I just reviewed the latest Value Line and they project 150 million shares going forward through 2002-4. We're there before this announcement today. If this were the plan, why didn't they announce along with the previous convertible debt offering. Makes you wonder what kind of convertible debt offering they will come up with in September.

I'm feeling nickel and dimed right now.

Why raise $ at a lower stock price today...

It is NOT a given that stock prices will be higher in the future, though we do hope that it will be. The management might be thinking that this is a high enough price to be raising money at. Just like us, even they can't predict when the top is going to be.
