William, how happy are you that we went into gold last week? The gold hedge I am holding has me close to even against any long term high-tech holders I can't sell for capital gains tax reasons. I don't see many smiling faces around the net today. . .but even with the Dow down nearly 200 points, things are holding up for me, due soley to the gains in gold. I wasn't seeing any other threads or sites pushing gold over past week. . . a single analyst upgrade on 2 stocks was it. On TELT, they put out earnings today, that looked quite nice. . .I didn't realize how diversified they were. . . glad I reloaded low. Haven't been watching WSTL. Hope you are staying indoors up there in Chicago. I hear that the number one crime in St. Louis this week is air-conditioner theft. Can you imagine driving through a neighborhood and seeing people running down the street carrying air-conditioners??? Monday, I drove out of town and noticed a very old woman on a rocking chair on her front porch mid-day. . . .on my way back, I saw a guy installing a window air-conditioner for her. I am willing to bet it is the first air-conditioner she has ever owned. . . .and my guess is she didn't pay for it, since there are many outreach organizations here that buy them for people. Rande Is
