Actually, that's an interesting angle Catlady.

Since no one has yet attempted to project the repercussions of non-Y2K compliant weather systems, I applied what I thought was a pertinent corrollary, that of people with money in the bank suddenly discovering they had earned 100 years earnings on their deposits.

However, I see your point, and its a good one. Personally, I concur with Ken (believe it or not). I think that the water supply will be drastically reduced due to Y2K related weather system disruptions.

Another issue that engineers have overlooked are the Y2K related vulnerabilities of our biological clocks. We could suddenly see 12-13 year old girls suddenly entering menopause and suffering from hot flashes. Young men may suddenly find themselves growing pot-bellies and losing their sight, as well as facing irresistable urges to buy fancy cars and chase 18 year old women. Viagra sales may sky-rocket. Our circadian and biorythms may be irreversibly altered.

And lastly, but most importantly, those who were born on the cusp of certain astrological signs could find themselves living as their neighboring sign, forever affecting the status of their relationships with their spousal soulmates.

The implications are terrible to ponder.. Imagine the sudden influx of new divorce cases and alimony judgements. The economic implications are immense.

Regards,

Ron
