To: Baba 2 From: DoubleD Thursday, Jul 29 1999 1:44PM EST -Preview- Looks like the old days (some time ago I mean) when the market tanks and gold and gold stocks go up - this didn't happen in 1987 because gold stocks had soared with the market. Today's action is refreshing - I don't own it - but have noticed that K is doing well here - it is a very good turn-around stock.

NYSE,TSE (Toronto)& NASDAQ down; but TSE gold & PM's up 4.17%. Which is one of the best days in recent memory. Do we dare to mention the word rally? Winzer

AKA: This rise is not significant relative to the drop in the US Dollar index terms. Gold did not keep pace.
