Pat: correction

IMHO NN already has preannounced that everything is on track:

Newbridge Networks Corporation today stated
that it is unaware of any corporate developments or external factors that would explain the recent unusual market activity in the Company's common shares.

Correction:

For the record, NN's quarter ends on Sunday night, Aug. 1, and since Monday is a
national holiday, any pre-announcement (in either direction) would be done on
Wednesday or Thursday.

Some observation about NN backlog order.
With record backlog order ( Q3 plus 115 million from Q4), NN can now play games with customers, which try to order at the end of the Q, and force NN to make better discount if
customer orders earlier.
Specifically, NN can ship against existing backlog order, and once numbers are made current
late orders will go into backlog order.

I guess this is reason why Alan did not want to used all 115 millions for current Q, to make it
looks fantastic.
He always want to have safety net.Nothing wrong with that.
