<stopping by lakes>From the author of "Y2K IS TOTALLY MENTAL"! And, if anything, advice potentially even more DANGEROUS for anyone to rely on!

Before anyone uses his idea, thus potentially endangering their lives in hopes that will be a solution against dying from no water, consider the following points of logic:

1. he says stopping by the local lakes and resourvoirs- to get water.
How much would you carry home? How long will that last you keeping in mind EACH family member needs at least ONE GALLON per day to drink, one more for bathing and other needs.

2. as it is a given gas supplies would be disrupted to whatever degree, do you want to bet your life and your family's life you will have that much gas to go visiting lakes?

3. depending on how long water to your home is cut off, just how many trips would you be making?

4. Would you otherwise be working during the day, and want to make this trek at nites?

5. As this will be in the dead of winter, depending on where you live, would maybe these lakes be frozen; do you really want to make these treks in freezing or cold weather, often thru snow or sleet, etc, and espically, on an ongoing basis?

6. In a state of martial law, there would be an after dark curfew, and I doubt the local authorities would be happy to see scores or hundreds of thousands of people (that were as ridiculous as Ron)driving during the daytime to their local lake to stock up on water.

7. How strong are you to be carring all those gallons of water to the car and to your home, espically if you get to carry them upstairs, as elevators won't work if electricy does not, and on an ongoing basis?

8. How can you be assured any such lakes will contain clean, pure water? That there would not be chemical discharges into the water?
When sewage backups occur and home toilets do not work, don't you think that some or all of those living next to these lakes will be using them as a substitute toilet?

There are a number of other logical points that can be made here- but this will serve as a list for starters.

Against any or all of the above, ISN'T IT OBVIOUS THAT IT IS A MILLION TIMES MORE LOGICAL TO SIMPLY FILL UP ADEQUATE CONTAINERS WITH YOUR OWN WATER IN DECEMBER?

This obvious belched out without any logical thinking going on internally... and dangerous advice (and from him this kind of crap is ongoing) is why he earned the name of :

the HIGH PRIEST OF ANTI-PREPAREDNESS!
