John, re Sun, Ebay, and another large account of Sun's was experiencing somewhat similar problems Interesting. Of course, we all experience outages (hopefully extremely few and far between), even with IBM equipment. Sun talks the "five 9's" of availability, like, advertising that they are up there with Blue and friends. I always wondered, though, if they do invest in the HW and SW RAS a la IBM and friends. I wouldn't bet on it, although if their stuff is crashing, they may have some new projects going on over in Palo Alto! Tony
