NG's "prediction" was intended to say in his opinion the
market is very weak and people should be very wary.

I have no problem with that statement. My issue is price point and
timeline. To state 10400 by monday or tuesday is purely a speculative
guess a best. Many pundits have been calling for the skies to fall
for the last 2 years. They have tried to call market tops and bottoms.
a few get it right ,but a some point they will eventually be wrong.
(laws of probability). If we all knew were the markets would be tomorrow there wouldn't be anybody left to buy or sell . Why buy a stock
if you know the price is going to be cheaper tommorow?

This thread needs to stay within its guidelines to be beneficial.
.......Now let's make some money :O))))))

WUWT... bad boy or not... those types of predictions could lead someone to totally liquidate their long positions and go short... then, if there WAS a big TSE rally, who would get hurt?? The potential damage is FAR GREATER than making a prediction on an individual stock IMHO. The great thing about this thread vs. many of the others is that, so far, it has been pretty much devoid of hype either way. As I said earlier, if someone is going to GUARANTEE their predictions then predict away.... otherwise, post your trades and let your actions speak for themselves!! Besides, if someone isn't confident enough to insure their predictions they shouldn't be making them anyway <gggg>!!!

Hi people. Honest, I am almost finished with these websites. I am about to fly out east and west to "push" them<ggg> When they become public knowledge I'll post the url's here...don't expect something magnificent...or profound!!<ggg>
Just an idea...that may or may not work!

Predictions...the ongoing issue!
NG's "prediction" was intended to say in his opinion the market is very weak and people should be very wary.

If NG had not stated a short position than a prediction is acceptable if done after hours. But, because he/they/them has/have already stated "a short position" it is in his/her/there/thems best interest to predict "dire straights in the market"! So,...in this case the prediction is not acceptable. Just as predictions of a NNC buyout are not acceptable. They all create the false sense of "missing the boat"....when the boat isn't even here yet!

So predicting a 10,400 DOW is a prediction that should be reserved for afterhours, not during the heat of the trading day!! Predicting a NNC buyout is old news....it'll probably happen....but do you want to hold it till then???? If so, yur an investor not a daytrader!

Congratulations on 20,000 posts!!!
