You questioned my statistic that about half of the population is on septic, rather than sewer. Here's the stat for Washington state, which no more urban or rural than the average state. Scroll down for the pie chart that shows the 51/49 split between septic and sewer. wa.gov Gee, Ken, sorry to pollute (so to speak) the dialogue and diatribe with facts.
