Doesn't sound like any lapse to me (although I might have waited a bit longer -- I wouldn't be surprised to see the high teens before seeing 35).

Dear Alok: support in the low 20s. Also Dan Niles recommended CPQ on CNBC (when asked what techs he would be buying)with the rationale being - how much worse can it get from here, and most (if not all) of the bad news is probably reflected.

I got a good laugh out of that!! Laughing on the outside, crying on the inside type of laugh. It can get A LOT worse. The problem is that CPQ made some very big, very bad acquisitions. If they cant turn that around (meaning if their initial assumptions were false) it can go much lower. Mike Reutgers of EMC looked at one of those acquisitions himself and couldnt see any way to make it a good return on investment. Mikes pretty sharp you know. JDN
