Toshiba trading DRAM production for flash
fwiw (not a lot)

semibiznews.com

IRVINE, Calif.--Toshiba Semiconductor Co. is planning a significant increase in the production of 128-
and 256-megabit NAND flash memories to meet growing demand for solid-state file storage in
consumer products, according to the company's U.S. subsidiary here today.

In doing so, Toshiba said it will shift half of its memory production to non-DRAM products. Today
about 35% of Toshiba's memory production is in DRAMs.
