RE: impatience

it seems that the market since '95 has spoiled many people into thinking that long term is 3-6 months. So when their recent purchase languishes they complain. Just listen to "stock talk" on CNBC these people call in about a stock & actually say "I'd like your long term view on AOL, you know, 6-12 months out"

Anyway back to VARL & mispricings ala QCOM, I agree with your post (robert) about it eventually fixing itself. I sold too early with qcom...it's one of the many trading mistakes I regret since I live so close to qcom's hq's.

>>Rather than flinging names around and focusing on the company's stock price performance...

I read the posts, I read the press releases, I read what a couple of analysts are saying, but in the end if the stock price goes nowhere the words mean nothing.

The fact is the company preannounced a "large" revenue increase that drove the stock price to 14+ and then gave the gains back when the "large increase" turned out to be rather hoe hum for the bottom line.

Looking at the stock chart it tells me that VARl has an erratic history of peaks and valleys both in stock performance and profits.
