Your take on the first point is actually a consequence of your take on the last one addressed: since you think that almost all women would find unwanted pregnancy a terrible dilemma, and abortion a heart- rending, if necessary, expedient, you do not see how you could become callous towards the fruit of her decision to have the child, nor about the possibility of placing her in such a dilemma. Therefore, you feel some responsibility towards the woman in her pregnancy, which speaks well of you. A fellow who was insensitive to the situation as a moral dilemma would react quite differently. I am saying that readily available abortion fosters the sense that abortion is no big deal, and that if the girl carries the child to term, it is her business....I will not go searching this moment, but I believe that it has been documented that multiple abortions are very common. Since most forms of birth control, if properly used, have a high rate of effectiveness, multiple abortions should be extremely rare....
