GG: Thanks for sharing the Street.com article....Internet advertising is huge and here is an interesting quote from that article...

<<...Most of the sites in the DoubleClick Network
don't have any personal data for most of their users. No names, no
addresses, no credit-card numbers. They just don't collect that kind of
information because most offer their content for free...>>

I think we KNOW that NETP is the pioneer when it comes to real time personalization....IMHO, DCLK doesn't have all of the pieces to the puzzle yet.....they do have a great PR and investor relations department.....this company is a wall street darling and is using its inflated valuation to buy up competitors like they're going out of style <G>..!!

NETP will rise again -- maybe sooner than some of the shorts realize....I continue to hold my shares and think LONG TERM.

Best Regards,

Scott

FYI...A Link to Wit Capital's Latest Comments on Net Perceptions....

witcapital.com

It's interesting that they raised their estimates and reiterated a BUY rating. They also encouraged investors to think about the long term. I believe that the 12-month price target that Wit has on NETP is around $40/share. I sure won't be selling my remaining NETP shares anytime soon. This company is VERY UNDERVALUED vs. many of the internet high flyers that are still way off their 52-week lows <G>.

Best Regards,

Scott

**FYI...NETP Presenting at the Pacific Crest E-Commerce Conference on Monday (8/2/99)....
ragingbull.com

Lets hope that NETP continues to gain the visibility and recognition that they deserve. A number of Paul Allen companies (like GNET) are closely followed by Pacific Crest. It sure would be nice if they would initiate coverage on NETP and market it to their institutional clients <G>..!!

Best Regards,

Scott
