It sure would surprise me. Nobody is that stupid.

Unless of course the $20 came with a whole slew of conditions.... Part of a bundle with cable telephone- finite time- some kind of "forced" advertising- something like that.

It would just be a really nice marketing ploy. Would love to see it.

If this company gets absorbed by T it would be a serious negative for me....
And every other ATHM owner. But flights of fancy like this one and like AOL buying ATHM (or ATHM buying AOL) are just that-- imagination. It isn't going to happen. Even spending time discussing it is a waste of energy.

The only thing of real significance I have seen on the thread since the SF decision is the comment about Fremont having acheived a saturation level where there is no more demand. That is not a good sign if true.

Goes to prove that either the cost needs to drop or someone needs to start creating broadband applications...
