Glenn -- I stopped for coffee -- in the back room where sports is on the tv for as long as I can remember they were sitting watching CNBC -- the day trading mentality has sucked in the masses, and the tragedies are beginning to get more public. Who knows what drove this man to such cold-blooded and insane violence -- but for now, it is etched in everybody's mind -- 'oh god, what is happening to us?' is the shared thought here. And it is a valid question. When tens of billions turn into hundreds of billions in market cap erased by the move down, real people will watch their lives fall apart. This is happening as we speak. Forgive me for being harsh -- but bozos who think this market is a 'can't miss' way to make money are completely wrong. This market has been a joke -- but for tens of thousands of people it is not going to be funny as their finances, their personalities, their families and their misguided dreams of easy money, as these all disintegrate into a pile of worthless paper, debts that can't be paid and people who will go over the edge. Its over Glenn -- IMHO. Its over.
