Bobby, one of the reasons for the breadth divergence is without doubt the trend toward indexation, which leads to stocks being mindlessly bought regardless of fundamentals. eventually, they will be just as mindlessly sold. re: Acampora: as soon as he changes his opinion again, i'll go long. what an infallible contrary indicator he has proven to be this year, it's incredible. shows you the dangers inherent in medium to long term forecasts.

Can someone here refresh my memory as to what Acampora did last year... don't follow him myself, I believe he is still bullish as of today... don't know his targets for y2k.
