td, I think it is rotation. Whatever money the herdy buyers of internut cos. have left is being poured into chip stocks, no matter how lousy their fundamentals. Gateway is a special situation, as most illiterates think their horrible quarter was a "blowout." Nobody thinks that about MU or INTC. <g>

Not unreasonable in this rare case: MU not only makes flash, but it's designed to be absolutely equivalent to INTC's, right down to the internal chip ID code.
