OT Michael, there are circumstances that can drive one completely out of his mind. Just listen to the media and so called WS experts who recommend Internet stocks as a core holding. Today's stock manipulation front running and many other conspiracies done daily in the financial markets, which are against the law, but not persecuted, bring many to financial ruin and possible insanity. I would agree that the one pulling the trigger is responsible, but it angers me tremendously that the people who are really to blame go ahead with their life get rich on the expense of others and even reappear in the media to further conduct their acts of deception. The person was obviously not in control. He was suffering from a mental lapse. Most people really don't understand that this is not something that is possible to control. I'm not suggesting that he should be allowed to walk, should he be captured and tried. He will most certainly be entitled to plea temporary insanity. If he had good health insurance, he will be able to get the help he needs. Very few people realize how wrong the wiring in a brain can go in a short timeframe. It's very dramatic. Everyone likes to believe they are immune, but trauma can result in losing the ability to be responsible. If you believe it's liberal BS, you haven't known anyone who has been the victim of a psychotic episode. This man, should he be caught, needs to spend his sentence in a high security psychiatric facility. What a waste of life, all around. When he regains his senses, he will probably be suicidal. I know a lot of people say who cares, let him rot in prison, but that is the saddest part of a psychotic break: nobody understands it, so the person who experiences such an event becomes so very isolated. Random death is so very hard to deal with. We like to think life is more orderly, but it's not.
