As ALTERN8 just pointed out, the Internet is a massive land grab game. To win the land grab, you've got to acquire properties... that's what Microsoft, AOL, and Yahoo have been doing and will continue to do.

AOL will probably do several big acquisitions in the next 3 years, so it's my estimate that AOL will have 50% more shares outstanding by 2002.

Acquisition possibilities might include companies like AtHome/Excite, Yahoo, MindSpring, Earthlink, Verio, Exodus, Amazon, eBay, Intuit.

From a traders perspective, AOL will probably retest this weeks low of 95 1/2. If we hold, I would load the boat, if we break below targets of 82-85 (June Lows) are possible.

Longer term AOL is a $200 stock.

Good Luck to ALL,
