As I said, this is not my bailliwick. I have read several articles in places like the Washington Post and Commentary magazine which have convinced me that Oswald could have been the lone shooter, and that there is no solid reason to think otherwise, but I am not well- versed enough to rehearse all of the arguments, and I do not know if I can efficiently find the articles in question, which were published about the time Stone's movie came out. I had the impression that the mob hit hypothesis was a bit stronger than most of the conspiracy theories, but perhaps you are right, perhaps the cover- up was too thorough....By the way, lest you think I am just a Stone basher, I thought that Nixon, whatever it may have been as a piece of history (and I hope that people would have sense enough to take it with a grain of salt), was a great film. I just thought that JFK sucked...
