News reports say he was a customer of the company, which runs a day trading room, where customers sit and trade at terminals provided by the company, which gets its revs from the commissions. OTOH, he seems implicated in the death of three other people (most reports say likely his wife and two kids), which bodies have just been found but were not killed today, and was a stated suspect in a news report from 1994 in the stabbing death of his mother-in-law, then-wife, and another relative (can't remember now). Not what you might call the most savory, most stable, character, from reports you read today. If these reports are true, and even if they're not, daytrading losses were just a trigger, not a cause. WUWT
