Wow! Lam really knocked the ball out of the park this quarter! Earnings of 0.28 vs. expectations of 0.12, and guidance for next Q of 0.50. I figured that Bagley would turn it around, but this is astounding!

The GDP Number and A Question on Bob's Model

1. Looks like the market ignored the reduction in GDP growth today

The GDP number gets a revision in a few weeks and the number may rise.

2. My question on Bob's model is as follows:

Is it a requirement of Bob's model that the market must go to at least the old highs of mid-July or new highs in order for a possible bear market call to be made? (I know no one knows for sure but I know everyone will attempt a guess.)
