Stuart: If Dell ships on Sep 26, at what show does INTC announce products shipping date. I still favor NETOP since RMBS will be there. It will be one crowded show with all the I-NETers there. The next major show is in OCT, DEVCON in NYC. Why would Intel make a big deal after systems are already shipping. Anyway, next 8 weeks should be fun. Regardless of market turmoil. jd

>>A Dell salesman says Dell's date is September 26,1999<< stuart, the dell guy may be right...but think about this... aug 8-13 we have pixelfusion with rdram at siggraph 99 (atlanta?). aug 17 hot chips at stanford u. i was told to look for k7 + rdram demo there. next we have week of aug 31-3 sep and idf in palm springs. focused on rambus and strongarm. sep 14-16 networld and interop 99...sitera and (?) expected to demo rambus based products. sep 17 tokyo games shows...sony introduces playstation II with 32 mb rdram. and who knows what else? sometime...nintendo 2000 announcement with 32 mb rdram. if the leaders, intel, dell , ibm, etc., wait until sept 26 to announce...they will be last!!! unclewest
