Armin, I understand the merit of an asset play and ALSC had an excellent run to 11 1/2 on good news. But as we saw, asset plays are short term fluctuations. Ultimately, a stock rises and falls based on its own merit. Once ALSC's news was absorbed and digested, the stocks value fell. Then, it really took a hit based on recent earnings that were 50% below analysts expectations. This was most disappointing as the industry is as hot as any in the market today. Management has a long history of poor decision making with regard to their core business. Granted, their investment savvy has helped, but what makes you think that this stock won't fall just as it did the past two weeks. I have a hard time believing that a little known money manager can move a stock to levels suggested by the posts on this board, particularly since this news was announced almost 2 months ago.
