xcr600,
How's it ever going to be enforced and who's going to do it??

That's a good question to ask the NASD & the SEC.
If it was up to me personally the first MM caught not honoring his quote, I would fine $500,000 After that you would see MM's following this rule. We'll just have to watch & see how it plays out, if they would just change the rule back to where the min. size was 500 or 1000 shares I think it would be more effective.

x, i was looking at delayed L2 on NOPT today and notices swings of up to 1/2 point, at the close price was run up from $35 to $38 back to $34 1/2 and settling at $35 1/2

while i am short NOPT, it really didn't surprise me as i have noticed the pattern in the past couple of days

the NOPT long however must have had to change there clothes and wipe their floors seeing such a wide swing after the stock sunk to $30 earlier this week

is this 'slippage' here? or something else?
either way, i think the firm who employed that MM should give him a big bonus and with the profits even pay some cleaning bills of the anxious longs

NOPTurd comedy, but may qualify as educational entertainment for this thread
