Listened to CC. Still sounds very good to me. I'm less concerned over license rev growth now, as the comparison to Q2 98 contained an unusually large $1.1 million deal. Excluding that deal licenses would have been up 41%.

The eMRO sounds to be catching on in a big way. Several times you heard the comments that "our customers are demanding certain vendors be added to eMRO." Customers want electronic ordering for MRO, and DSTM is in super position to get a lion's share of the market.

Also found it interesting that they feel compelled to move to larger deal sizes. Larry Blackwell was clearly excited about the opportunity in what he characterized as several "interesting" enterprise level deals that could hit late Q3 or more likely in Q4. This is moving onto a different playing field.

Internet functionality was repeatedly cited as reason for why the win deals. They mentioned they own telecom and nobody else really has expertise to challenge them there. Implemention skills are superior to competitors. Many successful pilots are leading to expanded deals - a good sign IMO. Lots of mentions of expansion of existing installs. ORCL integration key factor in many deals, and DSTM was successful vs. SAP. 86% win rates in deals says alot about the product.

Very positive CC IMO. Haven't decided whether to buy more as DSTM is already one of my top 2-3 holdings, but I liked what I heard. I like the vision. And I like the market dominance. This is a great way to invest in e-commerce without the stratospheric valuations. The company owns their space, and can leverage existing installed customer base into e-commerce side of the business where they have an even greater advantage/head start vs. the competition. These guys are executing. (Can you tell I'm bullish? <ggg>)

BTW, I don't follow the Yahoo threads as much as SI threads. I don't like the anonynimity and multiple identities on Yahoo. (I'm not speaking of the Yahoo DSTM thread, but of Yahoo threads in general.) Discussions on SI tend to be more on the level because of the one person/one identity.
