I still can't remember who Jobs said the music for TS2 is by...maybe someone could ask on other boards? There were a few people with 'Maya' jackets on at the meeting...they may post on a 3D site? It wasn't J. Tesh, Yani, or Elton John, not Elvis, a female, or Boy George, it was a male singer/songster that we all thought was a good idea.....But me feeble mind won't let me remember more than that. Jobs said that there was no singing, just music, so it won't be generating extra cash like 'Lion Story' did with Elton John. That is his benchmark, what he compares all his revenues to and I don't think he can equal LK until he gets a popular album to go with a popular film. Maybe this is the first step in that direction?
Also, re Mr. Levy, the only comment was that He turned 40 and started doing yoga, meaning that he cashed in his chips and is doing personal/family things for now.
I am ready to buy more stock at these prices...I do believe that Jobs has put together a great brand, with great talent and technology which will be rewarded by the street when TS2 comes out. There are no other animated films scheduled at Thanksgiving so far, and Jobs said that it seemed that most of the competition was not going to try to compete with TS2, they realize what a winner it will be. I only saw about 5-7 minutes of the film, but the story and action were compelling and engaged both adults and kids, a hard thing to do.
Getting longer,
