That is what makes a market because I would say downside risk is 20-30pts and there is significant upside if this company executes.

I am sure there will be opportunities to make money trading JNPR from the short side but you are playing with a company with tremendous momentum and won't likely lose its 'buzz' over the near-term. 5-10% of available tech companies make up 90% of the total market values. Understanding Junipers strategic postition makes me believe Juniper has a good shot at being in the 5-10% that creates all the value.

Jon K.

I think JNPR
still have 20-30 pts up potential but it should come down eventually. I'll just
short more with every 10 pts up.

Interesting approach..although it does appear we're caught in a trading range here. If I was to short this would be the only time to do it as we head into 2H99 and into y2K and into October. HOWEVER, without these factors I would postulate that shorting this company is not a good idea. They held back on their reporting last quarter and because of it will easily grow 100% qtr/qtr for at least the next 4 quarters. JMO

JNPR is up 10 points today, did you just short some more?
