Does VARL have the critical mass to compete with the big boys?

I'm impressed that they make money at fairly modest sales levels, so if they can grow quickly the bottom line could move up even faster.

After listening to the conference call and how great it is to compete against the Japanese, my concern is Vari-L was able to capture 75% market share and lose share holder value. Going forward they feel confident about beating the Japanese again. I guess you can see where I am going with this. Is wireless that much more profitable and is the market segment growing that faster?
