Good advice. If you let your children and your spouse know that they are more important to you than anything else in the world the rest takes care of itself.

Raise your children to believe in themselves and support their goals and projects, regardless of whether they fail or not. The most important thing is that they try. Never discourage, only encourage as the worst case from failure is that you are all that much closer to success.

>>>She gets her allowance from CheckFree

It's kind of funny. My retired parents do the same thing, my dad once a month sends my mom (via CheckFree) her monthly $$$. My mom complains that it is a little impersonal, but I guess that is to be expected. After being married for 40 years, I guess you learn to roll with the punches.

Not sure if this is good or bad. On one hand Chase is a CheckFree customer, on the other they are a potential competitor with the Exchange...messages on chase online banking...

messages.yahoo.com

Does Chase put any money into their online and IT department?

messages.yahoo.com

I called the bank[chase] to see what was going on, they told me it would be another 24 hours. The service has been down since Monday. I just cant believe this. A bank of this size having such bad on-line service. OK one thing is 4 hours but four days? It is without doubt, in this day and age preposterous. On-line banking is what banking will look like in the future, i cant believe that Chase has not figured it out.

Great story, TLindt!

As you said, I'll get there eventually...

Last night was baby's first in his new home. He was so sweet and quiet those 3 days in the hospital. My wife and I looked at each other as he was sleeping in the hospital and said, "I think we got lucky..he doesn't really cry. So sweet..."

I think between the two of us last night, we got roughly 2 hours sleep. The little guy just wouldn't stop crying ("tantrum" is a better word!!!hahahaha). I guess a little dose of reality has set in! He's got so many of the same traits I had when I was small...it's great.

Gonna try and take a nap and take advantage of Grandma's visit.

Best of luck SCOTT

PS. The support of $28.00 looks like it held for CKFR so far. Hoping the 'Nets can make some sort of rally next week.
